4. Order Tracking
Where tracking is available for your shipment, we will send tracking details to the email address provided with your order after the order has been dispatched and handed to the carrier. Tracking information may take some time to become active once scanned by the carrier. Please retain your order confirmation and tracking details until delivery is complete.
5. Delivery Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address during checkout. Please verify recipient name, building number, street, town, postcode, and contact telephone number before completing payment. We cannot guarantee address amendments after an order has entered dispatch processing.
6. Delivery Delays
Our normal estimated delivery period is 4–9 business days, subject to the order cut-off. Occasionally, deliveries may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as carrier transport disruption or severe weather. If we become aware of a significant delay, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights relating to delayed or failed delivery.
7. Missing, Undelivered or Damaged Parcels
- Missing Parcels: If tracking indicates an unexpected delay or your package has exceeded the expected delivery window, contact our team and we will liaise directly with the courier.
- Transit Damage: If a chair arrives visibly damaged, please notify our team promptly. Providing packaging photographs helps us resolve the matter quickly. Your statutory rights regarding faulty or damaged goods are fully detailed in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Returns & Refunds Policy
Returns & Refunds Policy
At FURNITURE FOR HOME, we want you to be confident when purchasing chairs from us. We offer a 28-day returns policy in addition to the statutory rights available to UK consumers.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
Return Policy Summary
- Return Period: 28 calendar days from delivery, subject to the conditions explained below.
- Return Shipping Cost: £0.00 – Free of Charge when using our prepaid return method.
- Restocking Fee: £0.00 – No restocking fee whatsoever.
- Return Method: By mail/courier drop-off only.
- Prepaid Return Label: Conveniently included with your delivery package.
- Refund Currency: Pound Sterling (GBP, £).
- Refund Method: Returned directly to the original payment method (Visa or Mastercard).
1. Your Statutory Cancellation Rights (First 14 Days)
For eligible purchases made online, UK consumers generally have a statutory right to cancel their order within 14 days after the day the goods are delivered without providing a reason. After informing us that you wish to cancel, you must return or send the goods back within the period required by applicable law.
During the statutory cancellation period, you may handle and inspect a chair to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality, in a similar way to how you might reasonably inspect a chair in a physical shop. If handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary and results in a reduction in the value of the chair, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
Opening the packaging does not, by itself, remove your statutory cancellation rights.
2. Additional 28-Day Change-of-Mind Returns (Days 15–28)
In addition to your statutory cancellation rights, we voluntarily extend our standard change-of-mind return period to 28 calendar days from delivery.
For change-of-mind returns made after the statutory cancellation period and within our additional 28-day return period, the chair must be:
- Unused;
- Unassembled;
- In a clean and resalable condition;
- Complete with all original parts, fittings, legs, screws, accessories and assembly tools supplied with the product; and
- Returned in its original packaging with the protective materials supplied with it, where reasonably possible.
*These additional conditions apply to our voluntary extended return policy and do not limit your statutory consumer rights.
3. How to Return a Chair (By Mail Only)
Returns are accepted by mail or courier using our designated prepaid return method:
- Step 1 – Prepare the Chair: Carefully repack the chair and all supplied components. Where a product can safely be disassembled in accordance with its assembly instructions, components should be returned securely inside the original packaging. Do not force the disassembly of any component that was supplied permanently pre-assembled.
- Step 2 – Use the Prepaid Return Label: A prepaid return label is included with your delivery package. Attach the return label securely to the outside of the parcel, covering or removing the original delivery label where appropriate. (If missing, please contact our team before dispatch).
- Step 3 – Drop Off the Parcel: Take the parcel to the carrier or authorised drop-off location specified on your prepaid return label. Please retain your proof of postage receipt until your refund is completed. Return shipping is 100% free.
4. Return Inspection and Refunds
- Inspection Timetable: Once a returned chair reaches our returns facility, we aim to inspect it and issue the applicable refund within 3 business days. Where statutory cancellation rights apply, refunds will always be processed within any applicable statutory refund deadline.
- Payment Method: Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction. As our website accepts Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards only, refunds will be returned to the card used for the purchase.
- Settlement Currency: Refunds are processed in Pound Sterling (GBP, £). After we issue the refund, your bank or card issuer may require additional processing time before the credit appears in your account.
- Zero Deductions: We do not charge any refund fee or restocking fee (£0.00).
5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Chairs
Your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are entirely separate from our change-of-mind returns policy. If a chair is faulty, damaged when delivered, not as described, or incorrect, please contact our Customer Care Team as soon as reasonably possible.
We encourage customers to report visible delivery damage within 48 hours where possible, as early notification helps us investigate delivery issues promptly. Failure to report a problem within 48 hours does not affect your statutory consumer rights. We will bear the return costs for goods returned because they are faulty or damaged.
6. Missing Return Label
If your prepaid return label is missing from your delivery box, please do not purchase return postage yourself before contacting us. Simply email support@furnitureforhome.co.uk and our team will promptly email you a digital prepaid replacement label.

Returns & Refunds
Q: What is your returns policy?

These conditions do not affect your statutory consumer rights. Please see our Return & Refund Policy for complete instructions.
Q: How quickly will my refund be processed?
A: Once your returned chair is received, we aim to inspect it and issue the applicable refund within 3 business days. Refunds are issued strictly to the original Visa or Mastercard used for payment. After we issue a refund, your card issuer or bank may require additional processing time before the credit appears on your statement.
